Monthly Rent Support of 150,000 Won, Youth Monthly Rent
Recruiting 16 Participants for Support Program
Namhai-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is recruiting candidates for the 2023 Youth Monthly Rent Support Project until the 23rd to reduce the housing cost burden on local youth and support stable housing life.
The Youth Monthly Rent Support Project is a program that provides rental fee support to young people experiencing economic difficulties due to housing cost burdens. Eligible applicants are youth aged 19 to 45 who are registered residents of Namhae-gun as of the application date, live separately from their parents, have a rental deposit of 100 million KRW or less, and have a lease contract for a house in Namhae-gun with a monthly rent of 600,000 KRW or less, and are heads of households without home ownership.
Those wishing to participate in the project can apply online through the Gyeongnam Baro Service or visit the administrative welfare center of their local eup/myeon jurisdiction. If selected, applicants can receive rental fee support of up to 150,000 KRW per month for 10 months (retroactive from February).
The selection criteria prioritize applicants with household income between 60% and 150% of the median income, selecting those with lower recognized income amounts first. Youth who received support under the 2021 Youth Monthly Rent Support Project are also eligible to apply. However, applicants who own a house (including household members), rent a house owned by direct ascendants or descendants, are basic livelihood security recipients (living, medical, housing), government or local government officials (including public employees), employees of investment or foundation institutions, or participants in government and local government youth housing support projects are excluded from eligibility.
For more details, please check the announcements and notices section on the Namhae-gun Office website, the Namhae-gun Youth Center website, or contact the Youth Population Policy Team of the Namhae-gun Core Strategy Promotion Division or the administrative welfare center of your local eup/myeon jurisdiction.
