Lotte Chilsung Launches 'Cantata Black Plus'

Containing 'Green Coffee Bean Alcohol Extract'
Functional Ingredient Added to Differentiate from Existing Black Coffee

Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced on the 9th that it will launch a functional food product with a health claim, 'Cantata Black Plus,' containing 206.25mg of green coffee bean extract.

The packaging of Cantata Black Plus was designed using green, symbolizing the main ingredient, and black, representing black coffee. The functional claim is prominently displayed on the front so consumers can easily recognize the product’s ingredients and characteristics. The product comes in a 275mL can, enhancing portability for convenient consumption.

A representative from Lotte Chilsung Beverage said, "While maintaining the deep and rich taste of Cantata Black Coffee, we differentiated it from regular black coffee by adding a functional ingredient that may help reduce body fat. We expect it to attract significant interest from consumers focusing on self-care during the hot summer season."

Lotte Chilsung Beverage plans to reach health-conscious consumers through online experience groups and various tasting events, starting with the launch of Cantata Black Plus.
