LG Energy Solution Collaborates with Imported Car Dealerships on Battery Management Business

LG Energy Solution is partnering with official import car dealers to collaborate on electric vehicle battery management business.

On the 8th, LG Energy Solution announced that it signed a "B-Life Care Service Provision and New Service Development Business Agreement" with seven official import car dealers. The participating companies are Autoplatz, Meister Motors, Klasse Auto, Yukaro Automobile, Autobahn VAG, Geo House, and G&B Automobile.

They agreed to cooperate to expand the electric vehicle battery management solution service 'B-Life Care' and to discover new business opportunities.

'B-Life Care' is LG Energy Solution's representative Battery as a Service (BaaS) business, providing information such as personalized driving and charging habit analysis and battery stress management scores to help efficiently manage batteries. It also supports safe and long-term electric vehicle use through battery evaluation and diagnostic services.

LG Energy Solution plans to equip vehicles sold by the seven official import car dealers with the 'B-Life Care' service. Additionally, by producing and providing battery information collection devices that check and diagnose battery status, they aim to enhance the efficiency of the battery management system. They also agreed to pursue various new businesses such as vehicle after-sales service, charging guidance, and certified used cars.

Based on this agreement, LG Energy Solution plans to secure a solid position in the rapidly growing electric vehicle battery management industry.

A representative from LG Energy Solution stated, "Through cooperation with leading domestic dealer companies, we expect to demonstrate LG Energy Solution's differentiated capabilities in the BaaS business," adding, "We will provide more convenient and efficient services to further enhance customer value."
