Jung Yong-jin, Vice Chairman of Shinsegae Group, scored a hole-in-one.

On the 7th, Vice Chairman Jung posted a video and eight photos on his social media (SNS) celebrating and confirming the hole-in-one. He made the hole-in-one at Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. He wrote, "Just went in at once #HoleInOne #DistractionTactic completely succeeded." Vice Chairman Jung said, "I can’t believe it," as he filmed the ball going into the hole himself with his smartphone.

Vice Chairman Jung is known in the business world as a golf enthusiast. He regularly posts golf-related content on SNS. Whenever he posts photos wearing flashy patterned golf clothes, he includes the hashtag #DistractionTactic. In April, he even traveled to the United States to watch the Masters, the first major tournament of the PGA Tour season.

The Shadow Creek Golf Course where Vice Chairman Jung made his hole-in-one was opened in 1990 by Steve Wynn, chairman of Wynn Group, a real estate and hotel casino chain, who hired top designer Tom Fazio. It is a regular on the list of America’s top 100 courses. The course was artificially created in the middle of the desert with golf courses, valleys, hills, and waterfalls. It has hosted event match plays featuring the ‘Golf Emperor’ Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson (both from the USA), as well as the PGA Tour’s The CJ Cup.
