Assemblyman Lee Hyung-jun Elected as Chair of the Supplementary Budget and Accounts Committee of Seocho District Council

Formation of the Budget and Accounts Committee at the 1st Plenary Session of the 1st Regular Meeting of the 327th Assembly

Chairman Lee Hyeong-jun: “We will strive to formulate a supplementary budget that resonates with all residents.”

The Seocho District Council (Chairman Oh Se-cheol) elected Councilor Lee Hyeong-jun as the chairman of the Budget and Accounts Special Committee for this year's first supplementary budget.

On the 1st, the council held the 1st plenary session of the 1st regular meeting of the 327th Assembly and resolved the agenda regarding the formation of the Budget and Accounts Special Committee and the appointment of its members for the 2023 first supplementary budget for general and special accounts revenue and expenditure.

The Budget and Accounts Committee was formed with Chairman Lee Hyeong-jun, Vice Chairman Kim Ji-hoon, and members Ahn Jong-suk, Park Mi-jung, Go Seon-jae, Kim Seong-ju, Ahn Byeong-du, Park Jae-hyung, and Shin Jeong-tae.

Chairman Lee Hyeong-jun stated, “We will make every effort to prepare a timely supplementary budget that all residents can agree on,” and added, “Through thorough review, we will do our best to ensure that the budget is used appropriately and effectively.”

The total scale of the supplementary budget submitted by Seocho District Office is approximately 91.9 billion KRW, an increase of 26.6 billion KRW from last year’s supplementary budget of 65.3 billion KRW. The council will review the supplementary budget from the 5th to the 14th, conduct a review through the Budget and Accounts Committee, and finalize the supplementary budget at the 4th plenary session on the 27th.
