GH, Emergency Drill Linking Headquarters and Field on the 8th

Kim Se-yong, President of GH, is presiding over a 'Headquarters-Field Linked' joint emergency drill on the 8th.

Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) conducted a joint emergency drill linking headquarters and field operations on the 8th at its headquarters in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon.

During the drill, GH reviewed the overall operational system, including the roles of each member and response procedures in the event of disasters and safety accidents, and checked whether the initial response and reporting system were activated promptly.

In particular, GH conducted the drill assuming a "fall accident," one of the major industrial disasters that could lead to a fatality among construction site workers. They also inspected the operation of the "GH-exclusive simultaneous reporting system," one of the key verification points.

The GH-exclusive simultaneous reporting system simplifies the reporting procedure from the first witness of a major disaster to the president, who is the head of the Disaster Safety Countermeasures Headquarters, into three stages. Unlike before, the reporting system is dualized into the "field division" and the "headquarters division," granting the construction management officer responsibility and authority over the "headquarters division reporting." Meanwhile, the safety manager of the construction company is given responsibility and authority over the "field division reporting" to enable rapid reporting.

Kim Se-yong, president of GH, stated, "Through disaster response drills, it is possible to minimize damage in the event of similar situations," and added, "The improvements derived will be reflected in the 'GH Disaster Response Standards,' and training for members will also be conducted."
