Yangyang Kumho Eoullim The First in Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do, which is expected to benefit from various developments including the Donghae Northern Line, is set to open its model house on the 9th and begin full-scale sales.
Yangyang Kumho Eoullim The First, developed by Korea Asset Trust and constructed by Kumho Construction, is located at 57 Gugyo-ri, Yangyang-eup, Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do. Various developments are underway in Yangyang-gun. The planned Yangyang Station on the Donghae Northern Line is a prime example. The Donghae Northern Line is a 111.7km single-track railway connecting Gangneung, Yangyang, Sokcho, Goseong, and extending to Jejin. Yangyang Station (planned) is expected to open approximately 1 km in a straight line from Yangyang Kumho Eoullim The First and is adjacent to the Yangyang Intercity Bus Terminal, which will further improve the transportation environment in the future. Additionally, the Yangyang Police Station is about to begin construction in this area.
There are also benefits from the lifting of restrictions in the Naksan Provincial Park area. In 2020, Gangwon-do authorized construction within the commercial zone here with a building coverage ratio of up to 80% and a floor area ratio of up to 1300%. This area had been designated as a park zone under the Natural Parks Act since the 1980s, limiting development until now. With this new construction permit, various commercial facilities are expected to be established around the area, further enhancing residential convenience in the future.
Recently, the development of the ‘Seoraksan Osaek Cable Car’ has attracted attention. Yangyang-gun announced that after the Ministry of Environment gave a ‘conditional agreement (consent)’ decision on the environmental impact assessment supplement for the Osaek Cable Car project at the end of February, detailed design work began immediately and is expected to be completed within this month. The Seoraksan Osaek Cable Car aims to begin operation in early 2026.
The natural-friendly residential environment also stands out. This complex is located near the Namdaecheon River in Yangyang and Seoraksan National Park. Through the Renaissance Project, the natural ecosystem of the Namdaecheon River has been restored while transforming it into a space for residents’ exercise and relaxation. Additionally, numerous parks and sports facilities such as Yangyang Sports Complex, Hyunsan Park, Salmon Ecology Park, and Namdaecheon Sports Park are located nearby.
There is also abundant infrastructure integrating education, administration, and daily life. Yangyang Elementary School is located right next to the complex. Yangyang Middle School and Yangyang High School are also within walking distance, making all school districts from elementary to high school conveniently close. Furthermore, various administrative institutions including Yangyang County Office, court, administrative welfare center, public health center, and cultural welfare hall, as well as distribution facilities like Yangyang Market and Hanaro Mart, are easily accessible.
Excellent accessibility to Seoul is another highlight. The Seoul?Yangyang Expressway is located near the complex, allowing travel to Seoul by car in about 90 minutes. In addition, the complex is close to the Donghae Expressway, National Route 7, and National Route 44, facilitating easy travel to major cities nationwide. Yangyang International Airport and Yangyang Intercity Passenger Terminal are also nearby.
An alpha room will be provided in the 59㎡ units. The 84㎡ units will feature four rooms to maximize individual space for homebuyers.
The sales schedule begins with special supply on the 14th, followed by first-priority applications on the 15th and second-priority applications on the 16th. Winners will be announced on the 22nd, and official contracts will be signed from July 3rd to 5th.
