The Busan Metropolitan Police Agency announced on the 8th that it will present a certificate of commendation and a reward to the reporter of the murder case in Geumjeong-gu.
The certificate awarding ceremony will be held online due to the taxi driver's personal circumstances, and the reward is expected to be set at over 1 million won.
Recently, Jeong Yoo-jeong scored around 28 points on the Psychopathy Checklist-Revised (PCL-R). The PCL-R is scored out of 40 points, with higher scores indicating a closer tendency to psychopathy.
In South Korea, a score of 25 or above is generally considered to indicate a high psychopathic tendency, while ordinary people typically score around 15 points.
The police plan to submit the results to the prosecution this week after comprehensively analyzing Jeong Yoo-jeong's upbringing, personality, past behavior, and mental illness status based on the PCL-R test and interviews with her family and acquaintances.
