Hampyeong County Health Center announced on the 8th that it conducted free oral examinations and consultations at Hampyeong Cheonji Traditional Market on the 7th in celebration of the 78th Oral Health Day.
This event was held under the theme "Health Revisited, Oral Care with a Smile," targeting over 600 local residents.
The main educational content covered various oral health topics such as the causes and prevention of periodontal disease and proper tooth brushing techniques.
Additionally, the event promoted awareness of blood pressure and blood sugar levels, smoking cessation, infectious disease prevention, and dementia prevention to enhance residents' health.
Jung Myeong-hee, the head of the Health Center, stated, “In the era of 100-year lifespans, we will implement various community health programs to contribute to improving the quality of life for county residents.”
