Hiking, Exploration, and Art: Customized Classes for the 5060 Generation
Securing 500 Instructors and 1000 Classes Within the Year
Living Research Institute (CEO Yeon Hyun-ju), which operates the home cleaning service platform Cheongso Yeonguso, announced on the 8th that it will launch 'Uri Class,' a hobby platform targeting the 5060 generation.
Uri Class consists of 53 classes across various fields including ▲crafts and arts ▲music (instruments) ▲coffee and tea ▲alcohol tasting (whiskey, wine) ▲travel ▲dance, and more. New classes such as yoga, pilates, water leisure, billiards, coffee, and rattan crafts will be added within this month. Customers can access the classes through the Uri Class mobile app and official website.
Uri Class customers can continuously recommend desired classes and instructors through the survey response feature within the service. Based on this, Uri Class aims to open over 500 instructors and 1,000 classes by the end of the year. During the ten-day pilot service period before the official launch, more than 200 people applied for classes, with women and men accounting for 66% and 34%, respectively. Additionally, group reservations by families and acquaintances accounted for over 20%, showing high preference.
Yeon Hyun-ju, CEO of Living Research Institute, said, "It was very encouraging that a high proportion of families took classes together or that children applied on behalf of their parents during the pilot service period." She added, "We will take the lead in providing new learning opportunities and playgrounds for the 5060 generation, who have relatively lacked leisure services compared to other generations, and offer various enjoyable experiences that can be shared across generations."
