LG Electronics' new concept portable screen, 'LG StanbyMe Go,' sold out within 10 minutes during pre-sale. LG Electronics plans to increase sales of LG StanbyMe Go through various online and offline channels in the future.
On the 7th, LG Electronics announced that it conducted a pre-sale of LG StanbyMe Go through a live broadcast called 'Ella Show' on its online brand shop (OBS), selling out the initial stock within 10 minutes. The live broadcast attracted over 110,000 viewers. The number of pre-notifications for the live broadcast also exceeded 2,000. LG Electronics explained that with the recent increase in outdoor activity demand, sales of LG StanbyMe Go, which supports enjoying various content not only indoors but also outdoors, have increased.
Starting from the 9th on OBS, LG Electronics plans to sequentially sell LG StanbyMe Go through various online and offline channels. The product's shipment price is 1,170,000 KRW. Kim Sun-hyung, Executive Director of Korea HE Marketing at LG Electronics, said, "Through this pre-sale, we were able to confirm customers' interest in LG StanbyMe Go," adding, "We will provide many customers with a special lifestyle experience through various marketing activities going forward."
LG StanbyMe Go expands the experience of the wireless private screen 'LG StanbyMe,' allowing users to increase their TV viewing experience in new spaces as a lifestyle screen. Its integrated design resembles a ready-bag style travel suitcase, enabling use without separate assembly or installation. Depending on the viewing environment, the screen can be rotated horizontally, vertically, or laid flat. Equipped with a built-in battery, it can be used for up to 3 hours without connecting to a power source.
