Where Are the 13 'Good Price Businesses' in Yongin?

Yongin City recently designated 13 establishments as Good Price Stores.

Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province has selected 13 'Good Price Stores' that lead price stabilization by offering affordable prices.

The newly selected stores include Manwol Gimbap, Gohyang Son Kalguksu, Jeongju Mandu, Hanbang Sundaeguk, Monggo Banjeom, Ssammae Village, Pal Seonsaeng, Gohyang Village, Ilgwang Butcher Shop Restaurant, Giggalnan Kimchi Jjigae, Chinatown, Daehanminguk Laundry No.1, and Cheonggu Laundry.

Yongin City designates stores that provide high-quality services to consumers at prices lower than the regional average as Good Price Stores, supporting them with badges, volume-based waste bags, tissues, and cleaning supplies.

With the appointment of these 13 new stores, the total number of Good Price Stores in Yongin City has increased to 25.

Yongin City evaluates Good Price Stores based on cleanliness of the kitchen, store, and restrooms, quality of service, compliance with origin labeling, and consistency between posted and actual prices.

Stores are designated as Good Price Stores based on their total evaluation scores, prioritizing those with many affordable menu items or lower price levels.

Even if a store is designated as a Good Price Store, the designation will be revoked if it fails to meet evaluation criteria in subsequent re-evaluations.

Individual business owners wishing to be designated as Good Price Stores can contact the Civil Economy Division at City Hall.

A Yongin City official stated, "Despite rising raw material costs, 13 stores have contributed to price stabilization by offering affordable prices, so they were designated as Good Price Stores. We will continue to manage these stores by operating price monitoring teams so that citizens can trust and use these stores."
