Dongjak-gu Recruiting 60 College Students for Summer Vacation Part-Time Jobs

Recruiting 45 people for the administrative field until June 9, and 15 people for the sports field from June 19 to 26

Dongjak-gu (Mayor Park Il-ha) announced that it will recruit 60 university student part-timers who can experience district administration and earn tuition money during the summer vacation.

They are divided into the administrative field working at the district office, community service centers, libraries, and affiliated organizations, and the sports field working at water play areas, with wages based on the living wage.

The administrative field will recruit 45 people who will work for 4 weeks from July 4 at the district office, community service centers, libraries, and affiliated organizations, assisting with administrative tasks. Approximately 1.4 million KRW will be paid for full attendance.

The sports field will recruit 15 people who will work for 3 weeks from July 20 to August 9 at Dongjak Parking Park and Hyeonchung Neighborhood Park water play areas, supporting order guidance and environmental maintenance. Approximately 1 million KRW will be paid for full attendance.

University students registered as residents of Dongjak-gu as of the announcement date can apply for the administrative field until June 9, and for the sports field from June 19 to 26 on the Dongjak-gu website. However, cyber university students, credit bank system students, and overseas students are excluded.

Except for 19 priority selection spots for basic livelihood security recipients and lower-income groups, general recruitment will select candidates through a public computerized lottery.

Mayor Park Il-ha of Dongjak-gu said, “This will be a great opportunity for Dongjak-gu university students to directly experience district administration,” and added, “We will do our best for new changes in Dongjak made from the youth’s perspective, including operating the Youth Mayor system.”
