Dongui University American Football Team Wins the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Spring Championship

The Dong-Eui University football team, the Turtle Fighters, won the 2023 Busan·Ulsan·Gyeongnam Spring Football Championship.

On the 3rd, Dong-Eui University defeated Busan National University in the final match of the 2023 Busan·Ulsan·Gyeongnam Spring Football Championship held at Cheolma Sports Park in Gijang-gun, Busan.

The Tongmyong University football team, the Turtle Fighters, is taking a group commemorative photo.

In the game, players Jeon Il-hwan, Bae Jun-ho, Choi Kyung-seo, and Kim Do-heon scored five touchdowns, dominating the match from start to finish and achieving a decisive 35-17 victory.

Kim Jun-hwan was selected as the Most Valuable Player of the tournament, Hwang Woo-bin received the Outstanding Offensive Player award, manager Yoo Ji-young was honored with the Outstanding Manager award, and coach Ryu Seung-hyuk received the Outstanding Coach award.

The 2023 Busan·Ulsan·Gyeongnam Spring Football Championship, organized by the Busan·Ulsan·Gyeongnam Football Association (BAFA), featured nine universities: Dong-Eui University, Kyungsung University, Dongseo University, Dong-A University, Busan National University, Busan University of Foreign Studies, Silla University, Ulsan University, and Korea Maritime and Ocean University.
