Practicing Carbon-Neutral Living for a Better Future
Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 7th that it conducted an environmental conservation campaign on the 5th to mark the 28th 'World Environment Day.'
This campaign was organized to overcome the climate crisis through carbon neutrality practices and to raise awareness of the importance of environmental conservation.
The event was held under the slogan "For a Better Future, Practice Carbon Neutral Living," with about 100 participants including public officials and members of the Hampyeong-gun Environmental Conservation Association.

Participants conducted a street promotion campaign from Hampyeong County Office to Hampyeong Terminal, distributing promotional materials such as leaflets and stickers to raise awareness about environmental conservation.
Additionally, they promoted the '3 Small 3 No Movement'?reducing food waste, using fewer chemical fertilizers, and not using herbicides?and carried out guidance activities to reduce greenhouse gases, such as maintaining appropriate indoor temperatures.
A county official said, "We hope this campaign will serve as an opportunity to think more about and conserve our one and only Earth," and added, "We ask all residents to actively participate in responding to the climate crisis."
