Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk Province, is recruiting new members for the "Good Price Businesses," exemplary establishments for price stabilization, until the 14th.
According to the county on the 7th, "Good Price Businesses" are excellent establishments designated and managed by the government and local governments since 2011 to lay the foundation for curbing price increases and stabilizing personal services.
The designation targets self-employed individuals and sole proprietors in personal service industries closely related to the livelihood of ordinary people, mainly in the dining sector and other sectors such as beauty salons, laundry services, and bathhouses.
Business owners wishing to apply for the Good Price Business designation can visit the New Vitality Economic Policy Office (Economic Job Team) at the county office or submit the application form and required documents by mail.
The county plans to evaluate applicants based on the proportion of good price menu items, price levels compared to the average, efforts to stabilize prices, customer satisfaction, hygiene and cleanliness, and public interest criteria, followed by an on-site inspection to select establishments that meet the designation standards by the end of this month.
Designated Good Price Businesses receive various support benefits, including equipment and consumables support by industry, reductions in water and sewage fees, and continuous promotion on the website. Especially for new businesses, a Good Price Business certification plaque and price signboard will be provided together.
County Governor Shim Deok-seop said, "We will actively promote the designation and support of Good Price Businesses to spread the atmosphere of price stabilization and to discover new eligible businesses."
Meanwhile, the county currently has a total of 23 designated and operating Good Price Businesses.
