Invitation of 11 Policy Officials
Introduction to Corporate Evaluation and Startup Academy
The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced that from the 7th, it will conduct a policy training program for Vietnamese government officials at the SBC Busan-Gyeongnam Training Institute for four days. This policy training is the second session following up on the meetings between SBC Chairman Kim Hak-do and the Vietnamese Ambassador to Korea and the Central Party Standing Secretary in May and August last year.
A total of 11 government officials from Vietnamese ministries including the Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Science and Technology, and Ministry of Industry and Trade will participate in the training. SBC’s business managers from the ESG Diagnosis Technology Department, Startup Support Department, and Training Project Department will introduce major projects such as ▲Corporate Evaluation Model ▲Corporate Diagnosis ▲Youth Startup Academy, and practical exercises for local application will also be conducted.
They will visit the K-Entrepreneurship Center, established in March last year, to share the management philosophies of first-generation founders of companies like Samsung and LG, and hold a session to propose policies to revitalize domestic entrepreneurship through analysis of Vietnamese entrepreneurship. They also plan to visit LiveX (CEO Song Jeong-ung), a beauty tech startup based in Busan, to experience customized policy support for startups and discuss cooperation plans for entry into the Vietnamese market.
Ahn Jeong-gon, Head of SBC’s Global Growth Division, said, "We hope this training will provide practical assistance in establishing support policies for Vietnamese SMEs and serve as an opportunity to activate exchange and cooperation between policy officials of both countries." He added, "SBC will continue to expand its cooperation network with overseas governments and related organizations through global cooperation foundation projects."
