The biggest feature of the MacBook Air 15 is that it is the world's thinnest 15-inch laptop with a thickness of 11.5mm. It is characterized by capturing both performance and portability. It weighs only 1.51kg, making it highly portable. Compared to PC laptops of similar grade, it is nearly 40% thinner and more than 200g lighter.
The MacBook Air 15 features a high-resolution 38.9cm Liquid Retina display that supports up to 500 nits brightness and 1 billion colors. It delivers rich and vivid content. Compared to PC laptops of similar grade, its resolution is twice as high and brightness is 25% better.
Equipped with the M2 chip, it is up to 12 times faster than the fastest Intel-based MacBook Air model. Compared to the best-selling 15-inch PC laptop model equipped with a Core i7 processor, it is up to twice as fast. The battery life lasts up to 18 hours, which is 50% longer than existing PC laptops, while also excelling in display and performance.
The MacBook Air 15 is equipped with a powerful 8-core CPU (4 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores), a 10-core GPU for fast graphics rendering, and a 16-core Neural Engine. Additionally, the M2 provides 100GB/s memory bandwidth and supports up to 24GB of high-speed unified memory. This allows users to smoothly handle multitasking and complex tasks. It also features a 6-speaker sound system, 1080p FaceTime HD camera, MagSafe charging, and macOS Ventura.
The MacBook Air 15 can be ordered from the Apple Store website and app in some countries and regions starting today. Sales will begin at Apple Store locations and Apple authorized reseller stores from the 13th. It will be available in four colors: Midnight, Starlight, Silver, and Space Gray. Prices start at 1,890,000 KRW, with educational products starting at 1,750,000 KRW.
