Hansangcheol Appointed as the 9th Chief of Jeju Regional Maritime Police Agency

Han Sang-cheol was inaugurated as the 9th Chief of Jeju Regional Maritime Police Agency on the 5th.

The Jeju Regional Maritime Police Agency announced that it held an inauguration ceremony at 2 p.m. that day in the main auditorium of the Jeju Maritime Police Agency, attended by over 130 employees.

At the inauguration ceremony, newly appointed Chief Han Sang-cheol said, “As maritime police protecting the safety and property of the people, let us all unite with a proactive attitude and a sense of mission to create a trusted Jeju Maritime Police for a safe and clean hopeful Jeju sea.”

He added, “I ask all employees to always be humble, open their hearts, communicate, and harmonize as Jeju Maritime Police.”

After the inauguration ceremony, Chief Han Sang-cheol inspected the maritime security situation in the jurisdiction at the comprehensive situation room, greeted employees while touring the agency building, and then began his official duties.

Meanwhile, former Chief Kim In-chang held a farewell ceremony with employees that morning and then moved to the position of Chief of the West Sea Regional Maritime Police Agency.
