The hearing regarding the dismissal of former Korea Communications Commission Chairman Han Sang-hyuk, who was prosecuted for involvement in score manipulation during TV Chosun's general programming re-approval review, will be held on the 12th.

According to the legal community on the 5th, the Seoul Administrative Court Administrative Division 1 (Chief Judge Kang Dong-hyuk) will hold the first hearing for Han, who filed a suspension of execution against President Yoon Seok-yeol regarding his dismissal, at 2:30 p.m. on the 12th.
Previously, the prosecution indicted former Chairman Han, and the government proceeded with his dismissal process on the grounds that he violated the "Act on the Establishment and Operation of the Korea Communications Commission" (KCC Act) and the National Public Service Act.
President Yoon approved the dismissal of former Chairman Han on the 30th of last month. On the 1st, Han filed a lawsuit to cancel the dismissal and simultaneously submitted a suspension of execution request.
Former Chairman Han was prosecuted without detention on the 2nd of last month on charges of appointing a civic group member who had opposed TV Chosun as a screening committee member on March 11, 2020, and knowingly allowing the manipulation of TV Chosun's evaluation scores in April of the same year.
