Generation Z Gets Overseas Travel Information from YouTube

Binu Labs Publishes Travel Trend Report for Generation Z

Generation Z primarily obtains travel information through YouTube. Binulabs, the operator of the university life platform Everytime (CEO Kim Han-yi), published the "Generation Z Trend Report: Travel Edition" on the 5th, which includes this information.

The Binulabs Insight Team conducted a survey from the 1st to the 4th of last month targeting a total of 1,000 university students nationwide in their 20s, with 500 males and 500 females. According to the results, 80% of respondents answered that travel is one of the essential activities in life, and 8 out of 10 actually enjoy traveling more than twice a year.

Looking at this year's travel plans (multiple responses allowed), 43% responded that they plan to travel only domestically, which was the highest, followed by 26% planning both domestic and overseas travel, and 16% planning only overseas travel. A notable 15% responded that they have no travel plans this year. The most common reason for not having travel plans was "lack of financial means," accounting for 67% of the responses.
