bhc Group announced on the 5th that, to promote win-win management with franchisees, it will provide free health checkups to bhc Chicken franchise owners nationwide starting this month.
Since declaring its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management in April, bhc Chicken has been negotiating with comprehensive medical examination hospitals across various regions nationwide to concretize support for franchise owners' health checkups. As a result, 14 partner hospitals were selected across 9 regions.
This health checkup program will be conducted for franchise owners of approximately 2,000 stores nationwide. The examination period will last for seven months, from this month until the end of the year, allowing franchise owners to choose their preferred date according to their store's circumstances.
The examination items include basic tests such as comprehensive blood tests and physical measurements, as well as various optional tests like MRI, CT scans, gastroscopy and colonoscopy, and ultrasound, depending on agreements with each hospital, providing personalized checkups. The headquarters will cover all health checkup costs, with the support scale expected to reach about 1.1 billion KRW.
bhc Group plans to conduct free health checkups for franchise owners regularly every year, not just as a one-time event, to enhance franchise satisfaction and create a healthy workplace.
A bhc Group official stated, “We plan to gradually expand various welfare services, including medical welfare, to ensure that store sites become healthy and vibrant workplaces,” adding, “We will continue to implement various tasks established to practice ESG management and realize the value of a franchise where franchisees and headquarters grow together.”
