In the Golf Course Locker Room, a "Chalkak" Sound... Employee Took Nude Photos

Golf Course Side Explains "Smoking in Non-Smoking Area"
"Claiming to Smoke Unsmoked Cigarettes... Avoiding Responsibility" Outraged

An employee was caught on the spot secretly taking photos of a naked customer in the locker room of a golf course.

According to a YTN report on the 5th, Mr. A, who had finished a round at a golf course in Yeongcheon, Gyeongbuk, was changing clothes in the locker room when he experienced this incident. He discovered an employee taking photos of his naked acquaintance, Mr. B, and himself with a cellphone camera. Startled, Mr. A confronted the employee, who tried to evade, but photos of the two appeared on the phone.

When Mr. A demanded an explanation from the golf course about this absurd situation, the response was even more ridiculous. The employee claimed that he took the photos to report the two smoking in a no-smoking area inside the locker room. It turned out that the location had been a smoking area in the past, but currently, some users left cigarette butts there, making it difficult to distinguish as a no-smoking zone.

Mr. A said, "It’s humiliating. No matter what, since naked photos were taken, feeling ashamed is natural. If I hadn’t discovered this, who knows where these photos might have circulated," adding, "They all have families, so it’s chilling."

Mr. B, who was photographed with Mr. A, reportedly had just finished showering and did not smoke. Mr. B said, "It’s even more infuriating because acquaintances contacted me asking why I was photographed smoking," and added, "The golf course keeps insisting I smoked when I didn’t."

The two are furious, accusing the golf course of trying to evade responsibility by using smoking as an excuse. In response, the golf course stated, "Although the employee intended to report smoking, taking photos was clearly wrong." They also said all photos were deleted, an apology was made to the victims, and disciplinary procedures against the employee are being prepared.

The police plan to investigate after confirming the exact circumstances, as taking photos that can cause sexual humiliation constitutes illegal filming.
