SPC announced on the 5th that it will hold the “Remembering Together Campaign,” a gratitude event for national veterans, at all its affiliated stores in June, the Month of Patriots and Veterans.
This event will involve all 6,600 stores nationwide operated by SPC, including Paris Baguette, Baskin Robbins, Dunkin, Pascucci, Shake Shack, and La Grillia. From the 6th until the end of this month, customers who present a national veteran card will receive up to 20% benefits, including a 15% discount on their purchase amount and 5% Happy Point accumulation. However, dining brands will apply an 18% discount and 2% Happy Point accumulation. There are no limits on the purchase amount or number of times during the event period.
SPC plans to donate a portion of the event proceeds to support national veterans.
An SPC official said, “This event was prepared to reflect on the noble spirit of the patriotic heroes who dedicated themselves to the country and to express respect and gratitude. We will continue to carry out warm activities that can expand positive influence in our society.”
Meanwhile, SPC held various events in 2019 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the March 1st Movement and the establishment of the Provisional Government, donating the proceeds to the Association of Independence Patriots’ Families. In 2013, to mark the 50th anniversary of Korean workers dispatched to Germany, SPC Samlip also sent its ‘Cream Bread’ to German miners and nurses to gift them the taste and memories of their homeland.
