Dongguk University announced on the 3rd that it has been finally selected as the operating institution for the Gyeonggi-do Women's Vision Center's '2023 Gyeonggi Women's Leadership Academy.'
The 'Gyeonggi Women's Leadership Academy Project' is a Gyeonggi-do gender equality fund subsidized project that discovers and nurtures female talents and women leaders to contribute to regional development and expand social participation. It has been ongoing since 2010 and is now in its 10th year.
For this year's Gyeonggi Women's Leadership Academy Project, Dongguk University's Graduate School departments of Counseling Coaching and Convergence Counseling Coaching, along with the Dongguk Meta Convergence Counseling Coaching Center, are participating as the main organizing departments. These departments plan to provide customized emotional coaching education programs tailored to the needs of women leaders, based on their experience in operating advanced courses and a diverse team of experts with practical and theoretical knowledge in counseling and coaching.
Dongguk University plans to operate the Gyeonggi Women's Leadership Academy for 50 women residing or working in Gyeonggi-do over 12 weeks starting from the 29th. Applications will be accepted until June 14, and the program will be held on weekday evenings at 6:30 PM to accommodate working women.
The curriculum includes special lectures by field, participatory courses (discussions, presentations), workshops, and experiential activities designed to enhance the emotional coaching capabilities and leadership skills of Gyeonggi women leaders.
