Yisangil, Mayor of Yongin, Holds Meeting with Call Center Counselors on the 2nd: "Actively Supporting to Foster Pride"

Yisang-il, Mayor of Yongin City, is holding a meeting with counselors at the Civil Service Call Center inside the city hall on the 2nd.

Lee Sang-il, Mayor of Yongin City, held a meeting with the call center counselors of the City Hall Civil Complaints Information Call Center on the 2nd and emphasized that he will spare no support to help them work harder with pride.

The meeting was organized to listen to the difficulties and challenges faced by the call center counselors and to gather various opinions for service improvement.

The call center counselors serve as the communication channel closest to the citizens by providing information about Yongin city administration overall and receiving complaints and inconveniences from citizens.

At the meeting, Mayor Lee said, "I can also be considered an emotional laborer who receives many calls related to civil complaints. I heard that the call center handles an average of 84 calls a day, which is impressive," and added, "I hope the number of citizens who are moved by the call center’s response will increase significantly. With the establishment of the semiconductor national industrial complex in Yongin, the population is expected to grow further, and the role of the call center will become even more important."

He continued, "Counselors are the representative face of Yongin City, directly listening to and empathizing with the voices of citizens, playing a very important role," and promised, "We will spare no support so that they can work harder with pride."

Since its opening in 2008, the Yongin City Civil Complaints Information Call Center has been providing administrative services to citizens through an average of about 1,800 phone consultations per day by 30 counselors.
