PinupStock held the practical stock short-term trading selection competition, "SuperStockK: Challenge! Short-Term King," on the 1st.
According to the company, SuperStockK annually hosts a stock recommendation competition to select skilled stock investment experts (hereinafter mentors), discovering mentors whose practical stock recommendation abilities have been verified in each competition, striving to create a healthier stock investment culture. The 8th edition, "SuperStockK8," is scheduled for the second half of this year.
This "SuperStockK: Challenge! Short-Term King" serves as a preliminary event for the upcoming "SuperStockK8" in the second half of the year. It is a competition held throughout June to test the ability to select short-term investment stocks (hereinafter short-term stocks). Unlike previous competitions that verified stock recommendation skills and discovered mentors, this competition selects stocks expected to rise within three days and competes based on the selected stocks' rate of increase. Even beginners unfamiliar with stocks can participate and expect prizes worth a total of 10 million KRW.
Just one day after the competition started, the number of participants has already exceeded 300, and the recommended stocks selected by participants in the competition are approaching 400. The application deadline for participation is Friday, June 16.
A Pinup official stated, "The participation situation in this competition is very unusual, and it is interpreted that the short competition period and the nature of the competition, which allows anyone from beginners to those encountering stocks for the first time to participate, have attracted a lot of interest."
Pinup CEO Kim In-gyu said, "We have recognized social issues such as stock investment damages caused by unqualified experts in the same industry and have been holding the SuperStockK season annually along with an expert verification system to address these issues. We ask for much interest and participation in the upcoming 'SuperStockK8' scheduled for the second half of this year. We will continue to strengthen the verification system and provide differentiated services through linkage with stock expert certification and verification programs."
Meanwhile, SuperStockK, held annually by Pinup, started with Season 1 in 2017 and has seen about 3,000 participants up to Season 7, demonstrating their stock recommendation skills. Among them, participants who ranked high in profitability undergo systematic internal screening and are given opportunities to work as PinupStock mentors (stock experts). It is known that about 30 of these SuperStockK-origin mentors have generated profits in the hundreds of millions of KRW and are active as stock mentors.
