"100-il Maekdonaldeu Meokgi" Challenge Leads to Weight Loss
Eating Only Fast Food but Halving Intake
"To Eliminate Obesity, Meal Portions Must Be Reduced," Emphasized

A man in the United States who lost weight by eating only McDonald's fast food for 100 days has become a hot topic. Kevin McGinnis (56), who lives in Nashville, Tennessee, declared his "100 days of eating only McDonald's" challenge on his TikTok account on February 22 (local time). After 100 days, on the 1st of this month, he shared the news of his success, saying he felt "great."

Amazingly, he succeeded in losing weight over the past 100 days. His weight was 107.9 kg 100 days ago, but he has now lost 26.5 kg, weighing 81.4 kg. He also reportedly improved his diabetes levels.

The foods he ate during the 100 days included hamburgers like the Big Mac, muffins, and apple fries. According to him, aside from the lettuce in the hamburgers and the blueberries in the muffins, he did not consume any other vegetables or fruits. He also did not engage in any additional exercise.

However, McGinnis explained his weight loss secret by saying, "I ate three meals a day from McDonald's, but I reduced the portion size to half of a serving, such as half a hamburger."

He did not consume soda or other snacks and drank only water.

McGinnis appeared on a local broadcast and said, "Don't be upset that I lost weight even though I ate apple fries. To reduce obesity, you need to reduce your meal portions. Eating three meals a day but only half of each is the key," he emphasized.
