This year's Green Consumption Week is operated throughout June under the slogan "Stylishly Green Lion" in celebration of World Environment Day. A total of 81 organizations, including the Ministry of Environment, Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute, retailers, and financial companies, are participating to promote green product sales exhibitions, green card promotions, and green consumption education and publicity.

An educational program for children was also prepared to commemorate the event. Green consumption education is conducted using teaching materials featuring the familiar "Gongryong Daebari" character, and by utilizing the "My Green Place App," children are given opportunities to directly practice environmental care through participation in waste separation.
