The Korea Employers Federation announced that its chairman, Sohn Kyung-shik, paid a courtesy visit to Yoshihide Suga, former Prime Minister of Japan and chairman of the Korea-Japan Parliamentary League, on the 1st.
Present at the meeting were Ryota Takeda, member of the Japanese House of Representatives and secretary-general of the Korea-Japan Parliamentary League, Koichi Aiboshi, Japanese Ambassador to Korea, and Takeo Kawamura, chairman of the Korea-Japan Friendship Association Central Committee.

Chairman Sohn said, "Improving Korea-Japan relations will be a meaningful starting point for peace order in Northeast Asia and strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries," and asked for support in expanding exchanges between the two nations. In response, former Prime Minister Suga replied that he would make every effort.
