Senior Companies Unite to Create 'Entrepreneurs' Mind Counseling Center'
Year-Round Campaign to Change Public Perception 추진
A gathering has been created where senior venture companies and investors console junior entrepreneurs. This is to comfort entrepreneurs who have been psychologically weakened due to industry investment contraction and funding pressures continuing since last year.
Four organizations?Korea Startup Forum, Asan Nanum Foundation, D.CAMP, and Startup Alliance?held the launch ceremony of the ‘Entrepreneurs' Mind Counseling Center’ on the 2nd, supported by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Korea Venture Investment Corp., and Korea Venture Capital Association. Until the end of this year, they plan to operate various programs including expert diagnosis and counseling, consultation on concerns from senior entrepreneurs, sharing of mind management secrets, and camps and forums filled with empathy and consolation. They will also continue a nationwide campaign to establish awareness of the importance of caring for entrepreneurs' mental health.
Lee Young, Minister of SMEs and Startups, said, “Today’s launch ceremony is very meaningful as it is the first action plan initiated among the commitments made by senior companies for juniors at the Hamsung Korea Declaration Ceremony held on May 23,” and added, “I appreciate the efforts of seniors for the healthy psychology of junior entrepreneurs and hope that it will settle as a good culture to create a healthy startup ecosystem.”
