Korbit Introduces Shinhan SIGN Service... Holds Commemorative Event

The ShinhanSIGN Service is an authentication service provided by Shinhan Bank, which is the first electronic signature certification operator in the domestic financial sector recognized by the Ministry of Science and ICT for compliance with electronic signature certification operation standards and designated as an identity verification institution by the Korea Communications Commission.

Shinhan Bank offers services such as electronic signature and simple authentication, as well as identity verification services that identify users and confirm their identity without requiring the input of resident registration numbers, based on the Shinhan Certificate.

Korbit has become the first domestic virtual asset exchange to enable identity verification and multi-factor authentication (MFA) for deposits and withdrawals using the ShinhanSIGN Service.

Meanwhile, Korbit is holding a commemorative event for the introduction of this service until the 30th. By installing the Korbit app and signing up anew through the event page within the Shinhan SOL app and entering the secret code on the event page, users can receive 10,000 KRW worth of points to use for virtual asset trading on Korbit.

Additionally, during the event period, customers using the ShinhanSIGN certificate will receive 5,000 KRW worth of points, and customers who trade virtual assets worth 100,000 KRW or more will receive an additional 5,000 KRW worth of points.

Sejin Oh, CEO of Korbit, stated, "With the introduction of the ShinhanSIGN Service, Korbit customers can verify their identity more conveniently and securely compared to the existing multi-factor authentication method via ARS phone calls," and added, "Korbit will continue to introduce various services to enhance customer satisfaction."
