County Governor Lee Byeong-no expressed gratitude to the public officials who worked diligently on county administration tasks, including the successful hosting of the '2023 New Bamboo Festival,' the advancement of ongoing projects, and efforts to secure budgets.

He also urged proactive responses to key agricultural policy public projects, including the Jeonnam-type balanced development 300 project such as the establishment of the Advanced Horticultural Industry Complex Service Support Center, visits to the National Assembly and central government ministries to secure budgets, and active consultations with related organizations to prepare detailed plans for projects like the Food-specialized Agricultural Industrial Complex.

Furthermore, he emphasized the continuous promotion of securing a living population to sustain participation in the Hometown Love Donation Program, regional promotion that highlights local characteristics, and the discovery of differentiated return gifts, as well as proactive safety inspections of vulnerable facilities in preparation for natural disasters during the summer season.

In particular, he stressed strengthening surveillance of areas damaged during the 2020 heavy rains, taking measures on facilities requiring repairs before the rainy season, and devising budget securing strategies for facilities needing funds, urging all to do their utmost to protect the property and lives of county residents.

Governor Lee Byeong-no said, “June is the Month of Patriots and Veterans, and I hope everyone remembers the noble sacrifices of those who devoted their bodies and minds for the country and holds a respectful heart toward patriots and veterans.” He added, “Public officials exist because of the residents, so please maintain a positive attitude and strive to provide kind and courteous public administrative services.”
