This campaign was carried out through the voluntary participation of Dongbu Construction employees who wanted to help resolve the blood supply imbalance. The Korean Red Cross blood donation bus was used at Dongbu Construction’s office located in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

This is the second blood donation campaign by Dongbu Construction this year. It was first held last year as part of its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sharing management. To encourage employee participation, incentives such as leave are provided for blood donations. The donated blood certificates collected through the campaign will be delivered to neighbors in need.

Since Dongbu Construction began actively implementing ESG management last year, it has been conducting campaigns in various fields including environment, quality, safety, and social contribution. In particular, the company plans to continuously promote exemplary programs where employees directly participate and contribute to society.

A Dongbu Construction official stated, "As blood supply issues have emerged as a social concern due to infectious disease outbreaks like COVID-19 and aging population, we plan to continuously carry out company-wide campaigns to spread the culture of blood donation. In addition, we will expand various ESG sharing activities in which employees directly participate."
