Kakao Opens 4th Daycare Center... Largest Scale in the Industry

Kakao is operating the largest workplace daycare center in the industry by opening its fourth daycare center.

On the 1st, Kakao announced the opening of its fourth daycare center, "Byeolideun Daycare Center," at Pangyo Alphadom Tower. With the opening of the new daycare center, Kakao can now care for a total of 907 children, making it the largest scale in the industry.

Kakao currently operates four daycare centers: 'Space Dot Kids Daycare Center' at its Jeju headquarters, and 'Neulyesol Daycare Center,' 'Ajitteul Daycare Center,' and 'Byeolideun Daycare Center' near the Kakao Pangyo office. To foster a corporate culture that supports balancing work and childcare, all four daycare centers are located within Kakao community office buildings.

In particular, all childcare teachers are early childhood development and care experts holding a bachelor's degree or higher in childcare-related fields. Kakao strives to provide high-quality childcare by minimizing the number of children assigned per teacher. Following the revised play-centered standard childcare curriculum, Kakao operates its own specialized programs including English, art, math and logic, science, project classes, forest experiences, music, and physical activities.

The newly opened "Byeolideun Daycare Center" spans a total floor area of 2,770㎡, with a capacity of 250 children and 16 classes in total. It is equipped with various facilities such as seven indoor play areas, a net play facility, a dedicated play space for infants aged 0, and a dedicated atelier space for art activities. The center incorporates eco-friendly materials and distinctive designs themed around space to provide beneficial stimuli to children throughout the facility.
