Ottogi Introduces Two Types of 'Old-fashioned Dried Pollack and Seaweed Rice Tteokguk'

100% Rice Cake with Rich Broth

Ottogi announced on the 1st that it has launched two types of "Old-fashioned Hwangtae·Miyeok Rice Tteokguk," rice cake soup made with 100% rice flour, enriched with rich dried pollack and seaweed.

The Old-fashioned Hwangtae Rice Tteokguk features a clear flavor created by combining the umami of dried pollack and the savory taste of egg in a deeply simmered dried pollack broth. The Old-fashioned Miyeok Rice Tteokguk is light and savory, made with rich beef bone broth and stir-fried seaweed. The rice cakes, which are the basic ingredient of tteokguk, are made from 100% rice flour in response to consumers' growing interest in health.


The two new Old-fashioned Rice Tteokguk products are highly convenient as they can be easily prepared using just a microwave or boiling water. An Ottogi representative said, "We hope you enjoy a hearty meal with 'Old-fashioned Rice Tteokguk,' which combines health, taste, and convenience."
