Filmed with Galaxy S23 Ultra
Samsung Electronics announced on the 1st that the short film it released in China on the 20th of last month surpassed 250 million views in just ten days. Samsung Electronics partnered with Shanghai Disneyland in China and filmed the movie using the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
The film is titled "Fantastic Night Rhapsody." The 27-minute digital film "Fantastic Night Rhapsody" was directed by Tian Jingdao and starred actor Jin Cheon. The movie was shot using the Galaxy S23 Ultra's 200-megapixel ultra-high-definition camera and nightography feature. It vividly captured detailed character movements and skin textures even in dark scenes.
Samsung Electronics released the full film, making-of footage, and behind-the-scenes videos through local social network channels. The film is the first Disney production set against the backdrop of Shanghai Disneyland. It tells the story of a protagonist who has become an adult in modern society and rediscovers the pure dreams of childhood and the attention of friends around them that had been forgotten.
Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics is conducting various marketing activities linked to film, music, and art in China. On May 1st, Labor Day in China, they operated an experience zone for the Galaxy S23 series at the largest outdoor music concert held on the outskirts of Beijing. Approximately 60,000 visitors to the event experienced the innovative features of the Galaxy S23 series. Additionally, Samsung collaborated with popular Chinese artist Su Rong (??) to create outdoor advertising sculptures for the Galaxy S23, which were sequentially exhibited in five cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chongqing, and Shenyang.
