Reflecting the nationwide interest in Pubao, panda videos have recently gained popularity on social media through algorithms. On Everland's official YouTube channel and the talking zoo PuppaTV YouTube channel, panda-related videos approached about 25 million views during May alone.

Additionally, it was found that one out of every ten visitors to Everland purchases various panda-related goods such as plush toys and hairbands as souvenirs, continuing their memories with the pandas in daily life.

Meanwhile, Everland Panda World, which opened in 2016, is currently the only dedicated space in Korea where visitors can experience pandas. The panda family consists of the parents Aibao (female) and Lebao (male), and Pubao (female), who was born naturally in July 2020, the first of its kind in Korea. Now two years old, Pubao has a huge fandom and is affectionately called various nicknames such as Pussi, Pugongju, and Putuntun, receiving much love.
