Best-in-class Dehumidification Performance
Approx. 8,000 KRW Monthly Electricity Cost for Average 5.7 Hours of Use

LG Electronics launched the 2023 model ‘Whisen Dual Inverter Dehumidifier’ on the 1st, featuring best-in-class dehumidification performance as well as enhanced design sensibility with Objet Collection colors.

The new product is equipped with Whisen dehumidifier’s differentiated core component, the ‘Dual Inverter Compressor,’ delivering powerful dehumidification performance. The dual inverter compressor has two cylinders compressing refrigerant, allowing it to compress more refrigerant at once, resulting in higher dehumidification efficiency and energy savings.

The product absorbs 3.2 liters of moisture per 1 kWh for the 16-liter model and 2.81 liters for the 20-liter model. It boasts the highest dehumidification efficiency among dehumidifiers of the same capacity. When using the smart dehumidification mode for an average of 5.7 hours daily, the monthly electricity bill is approximately 8,000 KRW (20-liter model) and about 6,000 KRW (16-liter model). Additionally, operating the 20-liter new model in low-noise dehumidification mode reduces power consumption by about 47% compared to the rapid dehumidification mode.

The new product is the first UP appliance among LG Whisen dehumidifiers. It applies calming beige and clay brown, Objet Collection colors carefully selected by experts, harmonizing with any interior. The UV nano function applied to the dehumidifier sterilizes the fan that blows air using UV LED. It has a 99.9% antibacterial effect against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli that may adhere to the fan.

The price ranges from 649,000 KRW to 749,000 KRW based on dehumidification capacity and the presence of an automatic drying function.
