Seongdong-gu, Individual House Price Notation in Building Register

From June, individual house prices for this year will be indicated on the general building register, reducing costs and increasing convenience

While apartment prices are indicated on the building register, individual house prices were not, prompting efforts to resolve gaps in administrative information

Seongdong-gu (District Mayor Jung Won-oh) announced that from June, individual house prices will be indicated on the general building register.

Seongdong-gu will indicate a total of 4,719 cases on the general building register where the location, total floor area, and approval date of use match those on the building register, based on individual house prices assessed and publicly announced as of January 1 of this year.

This service will be implemented from June, and the individual house price of the relevant house can be checked in the "Other Recorded Items" section at the bottom right of the building register.

Until now, apartment prices were indicated on the building register, but individual house prices were not, causing gaps in administrative information. To check individual house prices, a separate issuance of the "Individual House Price Confirmation Certificate" (fee 800 KRW) was required.

To resolve this inconvenience, Seongdong-gu matched data across systems to find individual houses where location and total floor area all match, and implemented the service to indicate individual house prices.

Through this, the district expects to reduce the time and cost required for civil service processing and improve resident convenience. Additionally, individual house data with mismatched total floor area will be continuously supplemented and reflected in the individual house price registration service.

A district official said, “The service to indicate individual house prices on the building register is a small improvement but a case of community-centered administration that can resolve many residents’ inconveniences, and we will continue to provide high-quality administrative services.”
