Gyeonggi-do to Provide Quarterly 250,000 KRW to Youths Aged 24 Starting from the 1st for 'Youth Basic Income' Applications Gyeonggi-do 'Youth Basic Income' Poster

Gyeonggi Province will accept applications for the second quarter (April to June) of the 'Youth Basic Income,' which provides 250,000 KRW quarterly to 24-year-old youth, from the 1st to the 30th.

Eligible applicants are 24-year-old youth born between April 2, 1998, and April 1, 1999, who have continuously resided in Gyeonggi Province for more than 3 years or whose total days of residence amount to over 10 years, and who have their resident registration in Gyeonggi Province.

Applicants can sign up as members on the Gyeonggi job platform Jobaba (apply.jobaba.net) and apply online or via mobile.

Required documents include a resident registration abstract (issued after June 1, including address history for the last 5 years or entire period). However, since a public MyData service simplifying document submission is being introduced and implemented, if the youth consents at the time of application, the resident registration abstract will be submitted automatically. Basic livelihood security recipients must submit a certificate separately.

Existing recipients who agreed to automatic application last quarter will be reviewed without a separate application, but if there are changes in personal information or if they wish to apply retroactively for the third quarter of last year through the first quarter of this year, they must update their information within this second quarter application period.

Gyeonggi Province will verify applicants' age and residence period and pay 250,000 KRW in local currency in the form of an electronic card or mobile payment starting from July 20 for the second quarter.
