Geumcheon Hanne Rose Garden: Subtle Rose Fragrance Carried by the Riverside Breeze

Expanding the Rose Garden on the Previously Barren Slopes of Anyangcheon Embankment

Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced that one million blooming roses of various seasons have blossomed at the Geumcheon Hanne Rose Garden along Anyangcheon.

Geumcheon-gu expanded the existing rose garden, which was created along Anyangcheon in 2009, to include the riverside and embankment slopes starting in 2019.

The Geumcheon Hanne Rose Garden features 136,788 rose bushes of 68 beautiful varieties spanning all seasons. Visitors to this place can enjoy the subtle spreading fragrance of roses and the splendid appearance of seasonal roses.

Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, stated, “We plan to make Anyangcheon a landmark through projects such as creating the Anyangcheon Water Light Rose Path and establishing a fine dust blocking forest along Anyangcheon.”
