Lunch with Delegations from 8 Countries Attending the Korea-Pacific Island Countries Summit

On the 31st, Samsung introduced its major business status and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities and discussed sustainable management plans during a luncheon with delegations from eight countries attending the Korea-Pacific Island Countries (Taedoguk) Summit at the Shilla Hotel Yeongbingwan in Seoul.


Attending the event were Choi Sung-an, CEO (Vice Chairman) of Samsung Heavy Industries; Park Hak-gyu, Head of Management Support Office (President) of Samsung Electronics; Park Seung-hee, Head of CR (President) of Samsung Electronics; and Cho Sang-ho, Head of Southeast Asia Division (Vice President) of Samsung Electronics.


Representatives from Taedoguk included ▲ Mark Brown, Prime Minister of the Cook Islands ▲ Dalton Tagelagi, Prime Minister of Niue ▲ Surangel Whipps Jr., President of Palau ▲ Kausea Natano, Prime Minister of Tuvalu ▲ Ishmael Kalsakau, Prime Minister of Vanuatu ▲ Moetai Brotherson, President of French Polynesia ▲ Biliame Gabuka, Deputy Prime Minister of Fiji ▲ Cedric Schuster, Minister of Environment of Samoa, among others.
