Yeongyang-gun Community Security Association, Leadership Training for Intergenerational Understanding and Communication

The Community Security Council of Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongbuk (co-chairmen O Do-chang and Kim Gil-dong) conducted a capacity-building training titled "Intergenerational Understanding and Communication Leadership" on May 30th at the auditorium on the 2nd floor of the Comprehensive Welfare Center, targeting 50 practical workers from the working divisions and social welfare-related fields.

Invited lecturer Park Jung-geun (CEO of Camp Korea) introduced topics such as ▲generational conflicts within organizations ▲developing into a leader rather than a rigid boss, emphasizing, "Through smooth communication and empathy between different generations, conflicts can be prevented, and a culture of mutual respect and cooperation can be created. The smoother the communication, the more close information sharing enhances teamwork, which leads to improved capabilities of employees and also increases job satisfaction, thereby boosting pride in work and contributing to organizational performance." His remarks received great enthusiasm from the trainees.


One practical worker who participated in the training said, "I was concerned about the generational differences in our organization and understanding the MZ generation. This session provided a clear understanding of the MZ generation, and to become a great leader, we must respect each other based on understanding and empathy," sharing their thoughts.


Public Chairman O Do-chang stated, "Through this training, we recognized the willingness for change and communication among social welfare-related practical workers to establish a healthy organizational culture. We will continue to support various differentiated programs for establishing a healthy organizational culture and communication across generations."
