Sales on Platforms for Travel, Leisure, and Performances
Interpark announced on the 31st that the transaction amount generated on its own platform last month in travel, leisure, and performances reached 259.3 billion KRW, marking a 104% increase compared to 126.8 billion KRW in the same period last year. This is an 18% increase compared to 219.6 billion KRW in April 2019, before the outbreak of COVID-19.
An Interpark representative stated, "As travel demand steadily increases after the endemic phase, the transaction amount is rapidly growing through various product categories and customer benefits," adding, "We plan to continuously introduce customer-centered services and products to solidify our position as the leading domestic travel and leisure platform."
Meanwhile, since the 20th, Interpark has launched a brand campaign featuring actress Jeon Ji-hyun as the advertising model with the slogan "The number one in overseas travel is Kida. Interpark." Since the 8th, they have been running a summer peak season promotion under the concept of "Around the World in 80 Days," sequentially offering special prices on travel products such as airline tickets, hotels, packages, tours, and activities in 30 popular cities across seven global regions including the Americas, Europe, Southeast Asia, and Oceania.
