Kim Eui-gyeom "Han Dong-hoon Becomes 'Incarnation of Revenge'... Gangster Wearing Horn-Rimmed Glasses"

Regarding the personal information leak case involving Minister of Justice Han Dong-hoon, Democratic Party lawmaker Kim Eui-gyeom evaluated the search and seizure conducted on MBC reporter Lim Mo, MBC, and the National Assembly Secretariat by saying, "Minister Han has risen as the 'embodiment of revenge' through this incident."

On the 31st, Kim said on YTN's 'News King Park Ji-hoon' program, "If it were someone other than Minister Han, the crown prince of the Yoon Seok-yeol administration, would such a problem have occurred?"

He added, "If the media company and reporter accused of leaking this were not MBC, which is deeply disliked by this government, would such an incident have happened?" He continued, "Especially the reporter Lim Mo, who was subjected to the search and seizure, is the one who reported on President Yoon Seok-yeol's so-called 'Biden blow' remark, and prior to that, was sued for 30 million won in damages by then-prosecutor Han Dong-hoon over the 'prosecutor's alcohol entertainment incident'."

He further stated, "So, unless it involves the noble Minister Han and the deeply disliked MBC reporter Lim Mo, would it be possible to conduct such a search and seizure, even entering the MBC Newsroom, over an issue of this magnitude?"

Kim said, "Didn’t President Yoon say, 'If you use investigative authority for revenge, then you are a gangster, not a prosecutor'? This is a typical gangster act," adding, "I have never seen a gangster wearing glasses, but Minister Han is truly a gangster wearing black horn-rimmed glasses."
