Yuhan Corporation announced on the 30th that it has reorganized some of its organizational units and carried out executive personnel changes as of the 30th to enhance the efficiency of its research and development (R&D) organization and secure growth momentum.
Yuhan Corporation elevated the Central Research Institute and Clinical Medicine Division, previously under the R&D Headquarters, to business headquarters level, reorganizing them into the Central Research Institute, Clinical Medicine Headquarters, and R&BD (Business Development) Headquarters directly under Kim Yeolhong, President of R&D. Additionally, following this organizational restructuring, Oh Sewoong, Im Hyoyeong, and Yoo Jaecheon, who previously served as heads of the Central Research Institute, Clinical Medicine Division, and Pharmaceutical Business Headquarters respectively, were promoted to vice presidents.
Lee Youngmi was newly appointed as the head of the R&BD Headquarters. She holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Seoul National University Graduate School, has served as a research professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Yonsei University, a research fellow at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute of Harvard Medical School, and held positions at Hanmi Pharmaceutical as executive director and senior research fellow of the research center, as well as head of overseas BD. Until the end of last year, she served as executive director overseeing global R&D innovation.
