According to the police on the 30th, the Financial Crime Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency summoned Na Hyun-chae, the head of the Democratic Party's Legal Bureau, this morning for questioning as a complainant.

On the 11th, the Democratic Party's Committee for Countermeasures Against Prosecutorial Dictatorship Political Oppression filed a complaint with the police against First Lady Kim on charges of violating the Capital Markets Act in connection with the Deutsche Motors stock manipulation case. The committee stated, "The prosecution considered that former Deutsche Motors Chairman Kwon Oh-soo's intent to manipulate the market ended on December 7, 2012, but evidence has emerged showing that the stock price rose again in early 2013, indicating that the crime had not ended." They added, "However, no investigation has been conducted on this matter, leading to an additional complaint regarding this case."

Furthermore, the committee claimed that former Chairman Kwon is suspected of manipulating the market by mobilizing funds from acquaintances, including First Lady Kim, during the 2013 transaction of Deutsche Motors' new stock subscription rights. They argue that there is evidence of First Lady Kim's involvement and that she profited through preferential securities transactions with former Chairman Kwon.
