Jin Air Attaches CCM Certification Mark on Aircraft

Jin Air announced on the 30th that it attached the CCM certification mark to a B737-800 aircraft on the 29th. This is to express the company’s management philosophy that customers come first and to demonstrate its commitment to further enhancing customer satisfaction. To increase awareness of the certification, the mark was placed near the boarding door where customers can easily see it when boarding the aircraft. Starting with this certification mark attachment, it will be applied sequentially to all aircraft.

The CCM certification is a system that evaluates how much all business activities of a company are organized from the consumer’s perspective and continuously improved. It is certified by the Fair Trade Commission and operated by the Korea Consumer Agency. Jin Air was the first low-cost carrier to obtain this certification in December 2022, and as of January 2023, it has been authorized to use the CCM certification mark.

Prior to this, Jin Air also launched a Consumer Centered Management page on its official website. This page contains detailed strategies including the CCM certification explanation, the consumer-centered management ▲motto ▲detailed goals ▲slogan, and more. It also introduces cases of service improvements reflecting consumer suggestions received through the Voice of Customer (VOC).

Moreover, Jin Air is conducting consumer-centered management activities based on various customer touchpoints, such as inserting the certification mark at the bottom of electronic tickets (E-tickets) sent via email when purchasing airline tickets.

Jin Air stated, “We will continue various efforts to enhance customer satisfaction and organize all management activities around consumers to provide sincere services based on absolute safety as a fundamental principle.”
