Terra Science announced that it has officially appointed former professor Ban Bong-chan, an expert in secondary batteries, as an inside director.
On the 26th, Terra Science held an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on the 2nd floor of its headquarters located in Changwon, Gyeongnam, where it resolved to appoint a total of six members: three inside directors, two outside directors, and one full-time auditor.
On that day, former professor Ban Bong-chan (currently CEO of Likemtec Co., Ltd.) was newly appointed as an inside director and business unit leader, raising expectations for active movements in the secondary battery and lithium-related businesses.
Director Ban said, “I am grateful to have joined the same ship with Terra Science through this connection. Based on what I have gained from working in this industry for a long time, I will strive to greatly contribute to the business plans Terra Science is preparing.”
He also expressed his ambition, stating, “The potential for development in the lithium secondary battery field is limitless, and leveraging various business elements I possess, Terra Science and I will mutually grow and develop to join the ranks of lithium-producing countries.”
Meanwhile, at the shareholders’ meeting, details of six additional business objectives were disclosed, including manufacturing and sales of secondary battery materials, lithium production and sales, salt lake development and extracted mineral sales, mineral resource development and sales, mineral production and sales, and manufacturing and sales of renewable energy plants.
